Hi, I’m Lisa
It’s been an honour and privilege to speak at many lipoedema and medical events throughout Australia and online.
In 2025 I was interviewed on the Lipoedema Podcast and presented at the ATMS Lipoedema Symposium. I presented twice at the Lipoedema Conference in August 2025, on Putting Conservative Care Into Practice and as a guest speaker for Medi-Rent at their Tried, True and Totally New presentation. I also co-presented a webinar with Medi-Rent to fellow therapists on the new TEO machine.
I speak on a wide variety of topics in relation to the lipoedema experience and treatment, as well as post cancer lymphoedema management.
In addition to conferences and podcasts, I have presented continuing education modules for the Manly Waters Private Hospital and Rebound Health and was a regular presenter on breast cancer prevention and management for the Encore Program.

ATMS Lipoedema Symposium
I was a speaker at the 2025 ATMS Lipoedema Symposium in Sydney. I spoke on Alternative Management Strategies for Lipoedema to a room filled with remedial massage therapists, nutritionists, acupuncturist, herbalists and doctors. I also participated in a panel discussion with the other four speakers, Tamryn Riemann, Kimmi Katte, Vanessa Eureax and Shannon Chandler.
Lipoedema Australia Conference
I was on the organising committee of the 2025 Lipoedema Australia Conference held in Canberra in August 2025.
As well as moderating numerous sessions, I presented twice. My first presentation was on Putting Conservative Care into Practice – all about how to fit lipoedema self-care into your day. I also presented as a guest speaker for Medi-Rent, speaking about their new TEO machine, citing four case studies from my clinical experience using the new technology – as part of their Tried, True or Totally New presentation.
Cancer Events and Continuing Education
I have spoken at multiple Cancer Support Group events, Encore Programs and delivered continuing education on lymphoedema for exercise physiologists at Rebound Health and the Allied Health staff at Manly Waters Private Hospital.

I was a guest on the Lipoedema Podcast in February 2025. This episode was the podcast’s Top Episode on Spotify for 2025!
